On arrival at Tintswalo Atlantic, sipping champagne while watching the sunset
Bill Harrop, owner of Bill Harrop’s Original Balloon Safari turned 70 yesterday and celebrated with his wife Mary at Tintswalo Atlantic.
Tintswalo Atlantic is the latest addition to the Tintswalo collection and provided the perfect setting to celebrate a special occasion. From Hout Bay we travelled through the toll on Chapmans peak drive and turned into the entrance “Tintswalo” and parked. The lodge was situated down a steep slope right at the waters edge, so a vehicle comes to collect all guests.
On arrival the setting was breathing taking. A glass of champagne was served on the deck while Bill and Mary took in the scenary during sunset. Inside Tintswalo Atlantic, the decor was tastefully designed using ocean blue soft fabrics and furnishings reflecting African art and the ocean.

Pre-dinner snacks were served in the lounge
Dinner was a leisurely affair. Pre-dinner snacks during sunset and then Bill and Mary informed the chef when they ready for each course.
Tintswalo Atlantic offers 10 rooms and a presidential suite. Opened only since a year, it will surely become the sought after destination for those seeking something special. To date, one special guest was Pierce Brosnan.
